Large drifts of this plant do look pretty stunning and is a real eye catcher in a prairie style planting. It is clump forming and has very fine, heavily, divided, green foliage and in summer produces masses of hot coloured, deep red flowers from mid summer often through until late autumn if it is mild enough.

Plenty of sun, a fertile but well drained soil and that’s about all it needs to take care of itself. Could not be more simple. Reaches a height of around 50cm.
