Lithodora diffusa Blue Star Purple gromwell
LITH-DI-STA
Hot Plant Company
This is a low, mat-forming, evergreen perennial with little, hairy green leaves. From Spring into Summer, it features five-lobed, little, white flowers with brushstrokes of blue produced in profusion. Position in full sun, keep moist in hot summer and put rocks near to the plant so the soil will remain cool underneath. Requires acid to neutral, humus-rich, well-drained soil such as loam or sand. Technically it is classed as a spreading shrub but looks more like a perennial.
