A magnificent looking, perennial lobelia, with upright, 90cm tall spikes of long lasting blue flowers appearing from late summer into autumn. Very architectural looking adding vertical interest to a moist flower border or bog garden. It does need plenty of water at the height of summer and will fail if it is allowed to get too dry. Other than requiring moist soils it is not fussy about soil PH and will tolerate full sun to part shaded aspects.
A magnet to bees and butterflies and is said to be rabbit and deer resistant.
Sent as a young plant in a 9cm pot.
