This short lived perennial is an attractive umbellifer forming clumps of compact, soft, finely divided green foliage topped with clouds of white, star shaped flowers in the summer. The blooming heads are held above the foliage on stalks up to 1.2 meters tall.
Reliably hardy in the UK tolerating temperatures down to -10 to -15c and will tolerate most soils, it really is not fussy. Although it can tolerate part shade we have found the best plants grow in full sun. Being a short lived perennial allow the heads to develop and drop seed around the parent plant after flowering so you have young plants developing as the mature plant reaches the end of it’s life.
Sent as a young plant in a 9cm pot. May be cut back for shipping and will be sent as dormant plants in winter.
