Green rocket is a very upright cultivar with compact growth and is ideal for low hedging or topiary. Reaching a maximum height of about 1 meter it requires very little pruning unless you are training into shapes. It is a great substitute for box, especially in areas affected by box blight and is quite happy in full sun, part shade and even full shade.

It is quite drought resistant once established and does best in a well drained, to moist but well drained soil and is hardy down to -15c.
