A compact evergreen Chillean shrub with glossy dark green leaves that are not pleasantly scented when crushed or cut. Masses of 3.5 to 3cm long tubular yellow flowers are produced in summer with often recurved lobes and protruding stamens.
Tolerates any well drained soil with a full sun aspect and shelter from cold winds. Reliably hardy during most UK winters but may be killed off during unusually cold weather or prolonged periods of cold.
Sent as a young plant in a 9cm pot.
