A perennial species of evening primrose with saucer shaped white flowers produced early in the day changing to pink by the evening. Flowering can start from late spring and continue well into the Autumn.
Fully hardy and loved by bees it can soon form sizeable clumps by spreading rhizomes. Drought resistant once established tolerating any soils (including chalk) as long as it is well drained and requires full sun. Flowering height can be up to 50cm but 30 to 40 is more normal.
Sent as a young plant in a 9cm pot.
