A woody based Mediterranean perennial with erect stems and narrowly lance-shaped leaves. The mid blue star like flowers are 1-2cm across and produced in spring giving early pollinating insects a much needed source of nectar. Part shade to full sun in a well drained soil. Drought resistant once established. Maximum height 50cm with a similar spread
