A small, low-growing, spreading, evergreen shrub with narrow leaves that are slightly sticky. Ideal for ground cover on hot, dry, nutrient poor soils or on larger rockeries and tumbling over walls. Very drought resistant once established and will be happy in any well drained soil with full sun.
The short lived flowers appear in summer and despite each one being short lived they are produced continuously during the hotter months. Each individual bloom is white with a deep red blotch at the base of each petal. Maximum height is usually 50cm with a spread of up to 1.5 meters. Reliably hardy in all but the coldest parts of the UK tolerating temperatures of down to -10c, despite this cold tolerance they should be sheltered from cold winds.
Sent as a young plant in a 9cm pot.
