Clump forming perennial, flowering in winter to early and often into late spring. The Christmas rose often flowers after Christmas and has large, round, white flat-faced flowers and leathery deep green leaves. Most aspects from sun to shade in all soils except waterlogged. Christmas Carol is a cultivar with a long flowering period.
