Osteospermum jucundum African Daisy
OSTE-JU-AF
Hot Plant Company
A low growing ground covering, weed suppressing semi-evergreen perennial that thrives on neglect, loving poor, dry soils in hot sun and even does well on coastal sites. The grey-green, linear and often toothed leaves usually remain evergreen except during cold, wet winters in which the foliage may drop. Flowering period on African daisies is long with the first daisy-like, mauve to pink blooms appearing on long stalks from June through to late autumn and sometimes into mid winter if the weather is mild enough. Maximum height 20 to 30cm with a spread up to 1 meter.
Sent as a young plant in a 9cm pot.
