A huge salvia up to 200cm tall plant for the back of a border in full sun. Flowering starts in late summer and autumn. Turquoise blue flowers appear in short spikes at the top of tall stems. Each flower head has only a few blooms open at a time, so the same heads keep flowering for several months by producing a succession of flowers. Only hardy in more sheltered gardens and warmer parts of the UK.

Sent as a young plant in a 9cm pot.
