A slow growing, dense evergreen shrub from Chile with glossy green/grey-green leaves, variegated cream and pink and scented pink tinged white flowers in the spring. The flowers are followed by edible dark red berries that taste a bit like a spiced up strawberry in the autumn.

Requires a sheltered site with full sun and moist but well drained soil.

Sent as a young plant in a 9cm pot.
