This climber is native to Australia and is found from New South Wales to Tasmania. It produces fragrant, yellow, little bell-shaped flowers that emerge in from late Spring to early Summer (May-June). After it flowers, vibrant lilac, large fruits appear in Autumn and Winter. Position in areas of full sun or partial shade and keep sheltered from the wind. Requires humus rich and well-drained soil such as chalk, clay, loam or sand.
