This evergreen perennial has beautiful, lance-shaped, green leaves with yellow edges - will flush red as it ages. From Spring to the beginning of Summer (March-July), small red flowers around prominent yellow bracts appear. Position in areas of full sun or partial shade. Requires acidic to alkaline, moist but well-drained or well-drained soil such as; chalk, loam or sand.
