A tall growing, spreading perennial that produces small purple flowers an tall airy stems from early summer right through to the first frosts.
Just as suited to a tropical planting as it is in a English cottage style garden and it is a favourite with pollinating insects.
Any moist but well drained soil to well drained soil in full sun. Despite its wispy appearance it is remarkably wind tolerant. Max height approx. 150cm and reliably hardy in the UK.
