A clump-forming perennial with ridged, oval, scented, deep green leaves and upright stems. It produces beautiful, tubular, two-lipped, purple-blue flowers, these appear from Summer to Autumn (August-October). Position in full sun facing either South or West and keep sheltered from the wind – can tolerant partial shade. Requires moderately fertile, humus-rich, acidic to alkaline, well-drained soil such as; sand, chalk or loam.

Sent as a young plant in a 9cm pot. May be cut back for shipping during the growing season. Sent as dormant plants if ordering between early Winter to early Spring.
