This is an evergreen shrub with very colourful, shiny green, oval leaves that have yellow patterns that turn pinkish brown. In Spring, it bears insignificant or even absent pale green flowers. Position in either full sun or partial shade and keep in a frost-protected area or grow under glass in filtered bright light. Proving to be reliably hardy in sheltered zone 9 gardens. Requires acidic to neutral, moist but well-drained or well-drained soil such as; clay, loam or sand.
