This is a bushy, deciduous shrub; better known as Pomegranate. Native to Europe to Himalaya. It bears glossy, thin oval, green leaves. In Summer, striking, tubular, scarlet flowers appear. Followed by round, red-brown, edible fruits. The fruits can be made into smoothies, juices, garnishes and cocktails. Position in full sun facing either; South, East or West and keep in a sheltered spot. Requires acidic to alkaline, well-drained soil such as; loam, chalk or sand.
If grown under glass put in a larger pot or a greenhouse bed in full light but sheltered from the hot sun and plant in a loam-based compost.

You will receive a young plant in a 9cm pot.
