This bushy, deciduous shrub is native to Europe and North Africa. It features pinnate, pale green leaves. In Summer, it bears racemes of pea-like, yellow flowers, followed by bladder-shaped fruits. Position in full sun facing either South, East or West. Requires acid to alkaline, well-drained soil, tolerates most soil types.
