This bushy, big deciduous shrub is native to West China. It bears large, velvety, oval, dark-green leaves. In Summer, it features mauve, flat flower-heads with white sterile florets. Position in either full sun or partial shade. Requires acid to neutral, moist but well-drained or well-drained soil such as clay, loam or sand.

Sent as a young plant in a 9cm pot.
