This is a clump-forming, perennial with highly divided, spiked, silvery-veined green leaves. In Summer, it features on sturdy, branched stems bright blue flower heads with blue bracts. Position in full sun facing either South, East or West. Shield from Winter wet. Requires acid to alkaline, dry, well-drained soil such as chalk, loam or sand.
