This is a deciduous, clump-forming perennial with palmately lobed, basal, mid-green leaves and wiry stems. From Spring into Summer, it features purple-blue, cup-shaped flowers with deep mauve veins and white eyes. Position in either full sun or partial shade although shade is tolerated. Requires moderately fertile, acid to alkaline, moist but well-drained or well-drained soil, tolerates most soil types.
Ultimate height: 0.1-0.5 metres
Ultimate spread: 0.5-1 metres
Will take approx. 2-5 years to achieve its ultimate height.
