This bushy, evergreen perennial is native to Eurasia. It features pinnately lobed, often scented, oval, tacky, green leaves. From Summer into Autumn, whorls of two-lipped, pale yellow flowers with brown markings appear in loose spikes. Position in either full sun or partial shade and keep in a sheltered position. Requires acid to alkaline, well-drained or moist but well-drained soil such as sand, loam or chalk.
