This is an evergreen, succulent that is indigenous to South Africa. It produces blue-green, waxy, tubular foliage and yellow flower heads. Blooms in the Summer season. Position in full sun area either facing South or West. This plant is drought tolerant and must be sheltered from the wind. Perfect in flower beds, borders, greenhouse, gravel or rock. Requires alkaline to neutral, well-drained soil such as; chalk, loam or sand.
