A low growing and easy to grow shrub from Northern China and Japan with bright green leaves and bell-shaped, pale yellow flowers from late spring to early summer. The throat of each flower has orange to dark orange red speckled markings and are popular with bees. Maximum height and spread is usually around 100cm.
Tolerates most soils and requires full sun to part shade and best grown in the ground. If growing in a pot choose an over sized pot and feed and water regularly during the growing season making sure it does not dry out during warm weather periods.
Sent as a young plant in a 9cm pot. May be cut back for shipping. Sent dormant in winter.
