Goniatids are ammonoid cephalopods that become extinct at the end of the Permian period. All goniatites possessed an external shell, which is divided internally into chambers filled with gas giving it buoyancy. An open chamber at the front of the shell provided living space for the goniatitid animal that looked very much like Nautilus.

You will receive 5 pieces of fossilized part polished Goniatite scooped randomly from the box varying in size between 2 to 2cm+ long. All sizes are approximate and each mix will vary in size and depth of colour.
