Koeleria glauca Cornish Blue is characterised by its variegated foliage that has thin, grey-green centers and wide creamy white margins. The narrow leaves form compact tufts up to 20cm tall with cylindrical, 50cm tall flowering panicles appearing above the foliage in summer. These create a whispy, airy effect.
Bred here at the nursery by Nick (UK & US Patents approved) and exclusive to us, it is thought to be the only variegated form of Koeleria glauca so far… Plant in full sun, with a well drained soil that is neutral to alkaline. Drought resistant once established and do not let it get crowded by other plants otherwise it tends to suffer from lack of light and too much humidity.
Sent as a young plant in a 9cm pot.
