A more compact form of Pinus mugo creating attractive, low, bushy mounds of evergreen needle like foliage. The needles are a dark green and small ovoid pine cones are produced in Autumn.
Loves a well drained soil with full sun and once the roots have established it can be quite drought tolerant. It is also more than capable of with standing salty winds so suitable for coastal situations. Eventual height around 2.5 meters with a spread of 4 meters over about a 50 year period.
