A large, fast growing climber, with large clusters of 5cm exotic orange-red flared trumpet shaped flowers in late summer and early autumn. The hardiest of the Campsis and best grown on a south-facing wall. Humus rich, moist but well drained with full sun. Height and spread if unpruned can be up to 10m.
Sent as a young plant in a 9cm pot. May be cut back for shipping and will be sent as dormant plants in winter.
