Semi evergreen, bushy shrub with bright green leaves and bright yellow flowers that have protruding stamens. The flower are followed by pale berries that turn red, then to a rich maroon and eventually black with age. It is the stems with the berries usually used in flower arrangements.

Fully hardy, tolerates most growing conditions in full sun to part shade.

Sent in a 13cm pot.
