Very shade tolerant shrubs for planting under trees, against north facing walls and in similar situations. They are slow and low growing shrubs that spread by suckering shoots gradually forming mounds of evergreen foliage. The dark green leaves are slightly rippled and the small creamy white flowers produce a very gorgeous rich scent. Part to full shade in humus rich, moist but well drained soil. Max height approx 100cm with a slow spread eventually reaching 2m.
