This dogwood is grown both for its brilliant red winter stems and its green and white variegated foliage that looks fantastic against the red stems in summer. Looks particularly good in winter planted in groups with other bark/stem coloured dogwoods. You need to chop this back to the main trunk each or every second or third spring to encourage fast growing coloured shoots. If left to grow as a large shrub the bark will take on a brown colouration with shorter less stunning coloured stems.

Sent as a young plant in a 9cm or 2L pots.
