Bushy small tree to large shrub with evergreen narrow ovate leaves that have a white margin that stand out from the red bark on young growth. Racemes of small white flowers are produced in late spring to early summer and are sweetly fragrant. Small black berries are produced in the autumn but are not edible. Easy to grow in any moist but well drained soil with full to partial sun.

Max height approx 400 to 800cm with similar spread.

Sent as a young plant in a 9cm pot. May be cut back for shipping.
