Excellent drought resistant, low growing evergreen shrub with spires of small, purple, bell like flowers from late Autumn and through winter. Requires a free draining, sandy soil and does not like wet roots in winter. Unlike many other heathers it does not require acidic soil. The flowers are fragrant, nectar rich and loved by any stray bees that may come out of dormancy on mild winter days.
Ideal for growing in pots. Max height 50cm with similar spread. Does not like hard pruning so lightly clip as soon as flowering has finished,
Sent as a young plant in a 9cm pot.
