A very gaudy houseplant with lance shaped, tri-coloured leaves producing very architectural looking clumps.Requires high humidity and temperatures to thrive although this is one of the more cold hardy Stromanthe (Calathea). We have trialed overwintering these many times outside with very mixed results, often surviving mild winters with a straw wrapping but never really thriving until back to warm, humid temperatures.

Plant in a humus rich, moist, but well drained soil keeping the compost on the drier side during the winter. Maximum height 100cm with a 50cm spread. Grow in Part Shade.

Sent as a young plant in 7cm pot.

Typically dispatched within 3 to 5 working days as 5 to 8 seedlings per 7cm pot. Fully tracked postage.
