This clump-forming, deciduous perennial has furry, green leaves with red-tinged, wiry, branching stems. It produces apricot pink, ruffled, saucer-like flowers in loose clusters. It blooms in late Spring to early Summer, from May to June. Position in areas of full sun either facing; South, East of West – can tolerate partial shade. Requires acidic to alkaline, moist but well-drained or well-drained soil such as; sand, loam or chalk.
