An unusual evergreen to semi-evergreen (high summer temperatures can cause the plants to die back and go dormant) perennial with strong, upright dark-green stems that slowly form good sized clumps. Mature plants have graceful, arching stems up to 35cm tall with leaves approx. 10cm long that are dark-green, glossy and lance-shaped. In late spring to early summer, small white bell-shaped flowers tipped in pale green are produced along the undersides of the stem and have a light lemon like fragrance.

Acid to neutral, moist but well drained soil in part to full shade. Slugs can be a bit of a pain in the neck with these so take necessary action if they become a problem.

Sent as a young plant in a 9cm pot. May be sent as dormant plants in Summer if temperatures are high. May be cut back for shipping.
