This deciduous perennial has striking, big, silver, heart-shaped leaves with emerald veins. It produces pretty little sprays of lilac-blue flowers that appear in Spring, from April to May. Plant in areas of either full shade or partial shade, if positioned in full sun it becomes less drought tolerate. Requires acidic to alkaline, moist but well-drained soil such as; sand, clay, chalk or loam.
