This is a clump-forming, deciduous perennial with scented, oval, leaves on upright, slender stems. In Summer (July-Late August), it produces beautiful, bright red flowers on pink edged, soft green bracts which fade bronze with age. Position in areas of either partial shade or full sun. Shelter from winder wet and in Summer do not let it dry out. Requires acidic to alkaline, moderately fertile, moist but well-drained or well-drained soil such as; chalk, clay, loam or sand.

Sent as a young plant in a 9cm pot. May be cut back for shipping and will be sent as dormant plants in winter.
