- Description
This clump forming, evergreen perennial is native to southeastern Australia and Tasmania. It produces lance-shaped, leathery, dark green leaves which often have varying hues of yellow and red in especially in the winter. In Spring and Summer, tiny, blue flowers appear on long reddish stems followed with bluish-purple berries.
Position in areas of full sun to partial shade and in Winter apply a thick mulch as it can easily be damaged by prolonged, heavy frosts. Requires acidic to neutral, moderately fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained or well-drained soil such as; loam or sand. Very drought resistant once established.
