Dodecatheon are spring flowering summer dormant perennials. The herbaceous foliage starts to die back after flowering and the plant becomes dormant for the summer period. New growth starts to emerge in late autumn. The slightly arching erect flower stems support the pink cyclamen-like flowers.
Suited for moist but well drained soils in part shade.
Sent as a young plant in a 9cm pot.
