Artemisia abrotanum Southern Wormwood
ARTE-AB-SO
Hot Plant Company
A highly aromatic plant ideal for planting along paths, around sitting areas or near an open window so you can appreciate the strong camphor like odour that is particularly pungent on a hot sunny day. Many insects take a dislike to the smell and may be another advantage to planting by an open window. Dense and bushy with whorls of feathery, sage-green foliage through the summer. A hard prune in late spring is often recommended to encourage the dense growth for the summer period. Maximum height approximately 70cm with a similar spread. Plant in any well drained soil in full sun.
Sent as a young plant in a 9cm pot. May be cut back for shipping. Sent as dormant plant in winter.
