A superb low growing foliage plant for full to part shaded areas producing clumps of deciduous arrowhead-shaped leaves, dark green with attractive silver markings. The foliage looks similar to a Cyclamen. The unusual deep purple-brown flowers appear in the spring but are often hidden by the new emerging foliage. Despite that they are definitely worth looking out for as they are slightly bizarre and some leaves can be removed to expose the flowers.
Max height approx. 15cm with a spread up to 30cm.
Moist but well drained soil.
Sent as a young plant in a 9cm pot.
